1) First time jumpa your hubby bila dan kat mana?

Kat Uni, Melaka. a month after registration. masa tu ada event kat Dataran Bersejarah, Melaka. I was at the table with couple of friends and he came to chat with them. Takde sesi memperkenalkan diri pun. Duduk2 kat situ terus jek menyampuk sembang and the rest was history.

2) Love at first sight?

Nope.we were just friend at that time. He was attracted to my other friend(s). But im cool. Konon2 macam jadi messenger between them. Hahhaha. (he surely gonna kill me if he read this!)

3) Who is he when the first time you met him?

Coursemate yg lebih tua. Sama batch tp dia lagi tua. hahaha . Tp masa tu lebih kepada “close friend yg sedang dlm usaha menolong close friend untuk mendapatkan pasangan idaman”. Siapa yang tolong siapa? Hahahha.

4) How long it takes for him to ask you out for a date?

Erm…lebih kurang 3 months after we met.

5) First place dating?

One of the restaurant kat area hostel.

6) How he proposed?

Proposed utk jadi couple, senang jek. Masa kat restoran tu dia cuma tanya, “nak ke tak nak? Cepat sikit, jap lagi orang ramai2 datang sini kang payah plak”..how was that?

Proposed untuk kawen, tak brp nak ingat. Mutual kot, sebab tetiba jek ajak family dia dtg umah utk beraya and suddenly our family dok discuss pasal nak bertunang.

7) Special date with your hubby?

24^th September 2001 – our first date

4^th November 2006 – the family came and decided to let us engaged

24^th November 2006 – got the ring (risik)

2^nd Decenber 2006 – engagement

7^th December 2007 - solemnisation

Erm…..jgn cepat sangat mengamuk kot..

9) What is about him that you love so much?

Kami mempunyai minat dan pemikiran yang sama. In other words, chemistry. He has same frequency as mine. So, I don’t have to tell him most of the thing like when im sad, angry, happy etc. He can understand me very well even when I don’t tell him anything yet.

10) What is about him that you wish he would change?

hari ni ahad. selalunya hari ahad mmg tak dok kat umah la..tp hari ni lain sikit. sumthing special is going to happen today. His family will be here today. :D. Sebenarnya saja je diorg nak datang beraya kat sini, nak kenal2 jek. bukannya ada apa2 pun. (read:not the meminang thingy). the ipoh clan bertolak dari sana dlm kul 9.30. so, my mom pun dah sibuk2 la nak masak la kemas2 umah la. actually, i feel nothing la. takde pun la rasa nervous ke takut ke. mungkin disebabkan my condition yg sekarang ni tak berapa ok (read:sakit). my mom dah siap masak around 11 am. pastu abah plak bg idea beli satay dulu la apa la..excitednya la.
tepat kul 12.30pm, diorg sampai. memula cam malu2 gak la. tp buat bodoh je. dah la tak berapa nak reti how to entertain diorg ni. sampai je,ajak diorg makan satay dulu. im glad that my family can accept them. tp family diorg tak tau la plak camne kan. tgh2 makan tu, abah cakap, gi la amik adik dia yg study kat upm tu. bleh makan sekali kat sini. so, dia la yg kena gi amik. dia ajak ikut sekali but i told him to asked for my parents' permission first. menggelabah giler. tu baru suruh tanya nak bwk gi upm belum suruh tanya boleh kawin ke tak.lepas dpt permission, we're off to upm. ni la first time naik kete dia yg betul2 leh belek2 kete tu. ketenya dah macam apa jek. tukar itu, tukar ini. ikut suka la. kete dia, duit dia. heheheh. dlm kete la baru leh borak2 sikit. ye la kat umah cam segan2 sikit sebab ada org tua. lepas amik adik dia, terus balik umah semula. sampai umah diorg kata taknak makan dulu, sebab kenyang lagi makan satay. so, abah kata lepas zohor baru lunch. ok je la. tgk our parents cam ok jek. sembang cam dah lama kenal jek. lepas zohor, lunch. pas lunch tu, biar diorg sembang2 la malas nak join. tapi ada gak la terdengar2 diorg tanya mcm mana boleh ke kalau adik kawin dulu drp kakak. erm..
dalam kul 3, diorg dah nak gerak balik ipoh. masa the parents salam2 tu, i heard that his aunt said "takpe, lepas ni akan datang sini lagi, tak lama dah".. ok..it does mean sumthing. takpe kita tunggu je la.. overall, i'm happy sebab our parents dah kenal, dah tau about this relationship, so takyah la nak sorok2 lagi.
malam tu, around 9.30pm, dia call. dia kata his parents dah decide to merisik+meminang+our engagement will be next month before my parents off to mekah. wait a sec, it means early next month la..very early coz their flight is on 5th dec.takkan la nak buat sebelum 5 dec kot. its less than a month la!!! he said tomorrow his aunt will call my mom to discuss about this thing.OMG.im not ready yet..no..of course im ready but not too soon la. im expecting it will only be early next year not this soon.takpe2..relax2.. we'll see how la tomorrow.

today is the day..every journey begin with first step. semuanya bermula sebulan lepas. a day after the visit, his aunt call mak. bincang itu ini, then the date was set. 2nd december 2006 was the day.
so, semua persiapan pun dibuat..huhuhu..guess that i can't get what i dream off (the dress, the theme color etc etc). takut gak kalau tak sempat nak buat semua benda. tak kisah la tak dpt apa yg diingini as long as well prepared ..ok la kan..lucky that sekarang ni ada mcm2 bisnes kat internet..hahahha ..power of internet..i managed to get enough bunga dulang for the hantaran from shaja (top wedding planner in KL), enough dulang+alas dulang from a friend, enough souvenir which is kipas cendana also from shaja and the most important is enough budget from mak..hahhaha. since this event was a adhoc one, we didn't plan to give anything "big" to each other. but mak and abah insisted to give their future-son-inlaw sumthing. so, the gifts from my side was sejadah, kain pelikat, towel (just bought the night before the day), bunga rampai, buah, cake and sireh. from his side was only a ring, fruits, cake sireh and 3 pairs of kain which is one for me and other 2 for my sis.
actually the event should start before the doa selamat. but due to an unplanned circumstances, abah begin the doa selamat first. during the doa selamat, the IpohMali arrived..with 14 cars all together. the KajangClan was a little bit panic at first..lucky that we have enough food. after the discussion between the two family, now is the time for sarung cincin and for the family to meet me for the first time. i could see that the IpohMali was extra excited to meet me coz they never met me before..huhuhu..i just acted cool and relax *perasan mode*
after the sarung cincin and bergambar2..i met all relatives and guests. but, i didn't manage to meet my officially-declared-fiance..hahhah...so conservative. his family didn't allow us to take photo or meet each other during engagement..what to do..just ikut je la kan.
so, the conclusion after the discussion is we will tie the knot..insyaallah..december 2007..the exact date will be confirmed later.so, i have another 12 months to prepare and dreamzzz for my wish-list-wedding. all the best to us!! :)

a month before the day

today, lagi sebulan je sebelum nak nikah... ni semua sebab plan bertukar.. nasib baik bukan di saat2 akhir.
actually, the plan was, the nikah day will be on 14th december 2007, then brides reception on 15th december. tapi, about 2 months before the day, imam kg tu bgtau plak, dia dapat pegi mekah this year and it will be on 8th december 2007. so, kalau we still wanna do it on 14th, we have to nikah at the pejabat agama, sebab pegawai agama tu taknak datang kat umah or masjid tempat pengantin tu..dduuhhh...so, imam tu suggest kitorang nikah on the 7th december 2007 which means a day before dia berangkat ke mekah. so, kitorg pun buat all the procedures utk berkahwin tu dan submit borang kat pejabat agama. alhamdulillah, sume pasal borang2 tu dah settle. so, sekarang ni tinggal nak settle kan persiapan utk fizikal dan mental je la kot. byk sgt benda nak kena pikir ni..pening nya la!!! wish us luck ;)
