what is Photomama, check this out.

im not a mama yet (soon, Insyaallah), but i really like the way SN tried to help all mommies out there in capturing beautiful photos of their kids. the tutorials was good, easy to understand and the premium subscribers can watch it whenever they like over and over again. but, unfortunately the tutorial videos was discontinued due to piracy problem. :(

yeay!! finally, i got my camera straps. thanx to her for the information.

at first, i tried to get it from other crafter, but no reply from her. nevermind.

so, when ida blogged about maya, i quickly email her and booked not one but two designs since all the fabrics in the list are awesome.

i chose the reversible camera strap. the designs are not too girly or feminine coz myMan will also use the camera.

Alhamdulillah. the quote shows what i had done for the past years of my life. and all great things do happen to me eventho some bad things came into my life but it just makes me stronger day by day. praise to Allah.

:: trip of the year ::

we have been waiting for this trip since early this year.

all the bookings, tickets, hotels and everything were confirmed since april. we didn't know what to expect when we first agreed on this trip. but, we knew that we will get new experience and maybe new interest after the trip.

at first, it was only a holiday and we planned to relax our mind, brush up some photography skills and explore new place. but, we gained and got more than what we had ever imagine.

:: may getaway ::

it was our second destination after this one. when we booked the package during the fair, we didn't realize that it will be my birthday holiday!

we started our journey early in the morning on friday. it was a relax journey since our package only start the next day.


then, the next day we did some shopping and later continue to the real holiday spot. it was awesome. the place is so cool and serene!

i really love reading.

my early days, i always read my sister's novel. malay novels. my secondary years, it was upgraded to english novels and magz. my uni time, it was upgraded again to romance, chic lit and thriller novels and also a a lot of magz.

books are always be my comfort medium when im stressed or bored. i can read the same novels over and over again. if the novels were borrowed from others, i will try to get it myself.

me and my reading habits are inseparable. i can be at the bookstores for hours and leave with at least one book or magz.

but, there was one particular novel that i cannot forget. it was long time ago and i still remember how the storyline and can read it again and again. during that time, i always imagined that one day the novel will become a movie. now, in 2010 my wish has been answered. i can't wait to watch this movie and i'm sure it will be hit!

:: march getaway ::

me & myMan managed to get a few great deals at recent MATTA FAIR. two days after the event, we went to our first destination. it was a very nice place and really love it! can't wait to go again.

it is been a while since my last post here.

i guess it is about time for me to start a new chapter with new inspirations, new visions, new missions and new me.

i finally realizes that i never give chance to myself. to me!
i always put my needs, my interests aside. there is always anything-but-me comes first.
i want to set a new visions, missions and dreams (BIG).

for a start, i wish i can treat myself with whatever i want in my own way.


no.1: TRAVEL TO ANYWHERE overseas

my "travelling diary and album" ended on may 2007. it was ages ago! i really wish that i can fully utilized my passport, go to the airport, boarding on a plane and go somewhere, anywhere. i love travelling very much and i have to get it done ....at least once ASAP :)


no.2: BEACH HOLIDAY

this is also the thing that i always want so much. watch the sunrise and sunset, having breakfast + lunch +dinner by the beach. since i always do-somethings-else-first before do-my-things-first, i never had a chance to have a beach holiday even once a year. how pathetic..blerrgh..


no.3: SHOPPING like no tomorrow

while i'm travelling and having my own sweet time by the beach, it'll do no harm if do some shopping like no tomorrow. i'm sure it will make my "travelling diary and album" more interesting and colourful, perhaps it can be a directory for future reference.


no.4: COMPLETE PHOTOGRAPHY GEAR

in order to make my everything mentioned above succeed, i will get my photography gears complete with all accessories needed. i can take as many beautiful pictures as i like and make other people jealous of me. heheh.


no.5: NEW LAPTOP


last but not least,before i start with all my plan, i really have to get this sleek and stylish DELL INSPIRON 13's for always get me connected to the world. it is true that i should just relax and chill while i'm having fun out there but with this pretty little thin and light design, i can surf the internet for my daily dose of favourite blog, store and upload my latest picture while travelling to my social network page and most important thing..update my own blog. erm..what colour should i get?

Sinopsis: (taken from the oficial website)

A talent search competition has matched two hearts - that of Melur, a Malay-mixed girl and an Indian male student, Mahesh. Melur, with her melodious voice, singing whilst playing the piano is one of the seven finalists of the Talentime competition of her school organised by Cikgu Adibah. Likewise Hafiz, enthralling with his vocalist talent while playing the guitar, dividing his time between school and mother, who is hospitalised for brain tumor.

It all started after Mahesh, amongst the students assigned to get the finalists to school for practice, delivered the notice of successful audition to Melur's house. His handsome looks attracted the girl. Early on of their relationship, tragedy struck Mahesh's family when his uncle Ganesh who had been the care-taker of the family since the loss of Mahesh's father, was stabbed to death on his wedding day. Melur thinking that Mahesh's silence was due to his grief over the tragedy became furious when she was continuously ignored. She regretted it however after Hafez revealed Mahesh's situation.

That changed Melur's perception of Mahesh. Likewise Mahesh, who grew comfortable with the presence of the girl who often quotes beautiful poetry. Mahesh, realizing that the relationship will be opposed, kept it hidden from his mother,still grieving over the death of Ganesh. Alas, the secret was exposed and Mahesh was assaulted before Melur's very eyes. Just a day before the competition, is Melur resilient enough to sing the poetic lyrics of her song when her heart is tormented by the thoughts of Mahesh? What about Mahesh who has found his first love? On Talentime night, everything unfolds.

filem yang sangat menyentuh perasaan especially mengenai kekeluargaan dan perkauman

Kesimpulan:

i suggested that when you watch this movie, please think "out of the box" otherwise you will get confuse and a little bit lost.

:: movie review : slumdog millionaire & benjamin button ::

Masa Tayangan: can't remember, since i watched it at home

Tempat: in front of the laptop in the bedroom

Sinopsis:

seorang remaja lelaki yang menyertai sebuah rancangan kuiz dan berjaya menjawab semua soalan. sebelum soalan yang terakhir, dia telah ditangkap kerana disyaki menipu. dia akhirnya menceritakan bagaimana dia mengetahui jawapan utk kesemua soalan iaitu berdasarkan kisah hidupnya sendiri.

Komen:

jalan cerita yang menarik, tidak membosankan walaupun without pelakon-pelakon yang popular. really inspiring.

Kesimpulan:

can't take my eyes off the screen! sangat best! enuff.

my favourite scene of all. haha.

Masa Tayangan: also can't remember

Tempat: also in front of the laptop in the bedroom

Sinopsis:

bila kehidupan anda menjadi backward. lahir sebagai tua dan meningkat usia dengan semakin muda.

Komen:

mempunyai mesej yang mendalam sehingga tidak tahu bagaimana untuk mengomen. huhu.

Kesimpulan:

terlelap beberapa kali sepanjang filem ini. mungkin terlalu banyak bercakap.

:: book review : travelog haji ::

just bought it last friday and got time to read it on sunday. currently, chapter 19.


it brought back 2001's memories when i was there together with the family. the book is really great, simple words, easy to understand and make the readers want to go there.


pray hard that i can go back to Baitullah and perform better. insyaallah.

:: movie review : changeling ::

Masa Tayangan: Isnin, 9.30 pm

Tempat: Cineplex, Cineleisure Damansara

Sinopsis:

berdasarkan kisah benar sekita tahun 40'an. seorang wanita yang kehilangan anak lelaki dan berusaha untuk mencari anaknya.

beberapa bulan selepas itu, pihak polis mendakwa anaknya telah dijumpai tetapi wanita tersebut sedar bahawa itu bukanlah anaknya.

dia dituduh gila dan polis cuba untuk menutup kesilapan mereka.

pada masa yang sama, di tempat berlainan seorang lelaki dikenalpasti sebagai penculik kanak-kanak dan pembunuh bersiri.

Komen:

pada mulanya tidak mempunyai apa-apa idea tentang filem tersebut tetapi berjaya berasa seronok sepanjang 2jam 30minit, tak boring walaupun berlatarbelakangkan tahun 40'an.

Kesimpulan:

mendebarkan, tidak membosankan walaupun jalan cerita yang panjang, pelakon first-class.

:: movie review : bedtime stories ::

Masa Tayangan: Jumaat, 9.10 pm

Tempat: Row D, Hall 1, GSC Alamanda

Sinopsis:

seorg pakcik cool yg terpaksa menjaga anak sedaranya utk seminggu. dia telah menjadikan waktu tido sbg waktu utk memancing perhatian mereka dgn bercerita.

pakcik cool itu juga adalah seorg yg bercita2 besar utk mendapatkan semula hotel peninggalan bapanya yg telah ditipu oleh seorg lelaki kaya.

semasa aktiviti bercerita sebelum tido tu, pakcik cool dan anak sedaranya telah mencipta cerita berdasarkan imaginasi mereka yg akhirnya telah menjadi kenyataan. namun begitu, hanya part yg diimagin oleh anak sedaranya sahaja akan menjadi kenyataan.

bila pakcik cool ni realise yg cerita2 diorg tu jadi kenyataan, dia telah plan utk membuatkaan anak sedaranya mengimagin cerita2 yg best jek supaya ia menjadi kenyataan dan dengan harapan dia berjaya mendapatkan apa yg dia cita2kan.

Komen:

pelakon OK, ada Bugsy yg cute, jalan cerita cepat dan tidak membosankan, ada part yg kelakar nak mampos.

Kesimpulan:

cukup semua.. kelakar, romantik sket, cool!
